Gambas is a must have. Filled with garlicky goodness. Also try the paella with meat and seafood. In addition to the seafood Unami, the sausage makes the dish extra fragrant!
Fish (Mahi-mahi) salpicao! So good you can eat it by yourself! Their freshly baked bread is delicious too!
We were surprised to see this Spanish restaurant tucked in an alley in Boracay. The place had an authentic ambience of a spanish tapas bar complete with a bulls head with swords stuck to it. It was dimly lit with an old map of the philippines painted on one wall and old photographs of boracay people on another.
The food was so delicious. We shared 4 plates of tapas between two very hungry people. We had meatballs in tomato sauce which were so tender and yummy we ordered a second plate. We also had the shrimp in garlic and chilli and beef pieces in garlic marinade. Everything was of very high standard and cooked to perfection.
I did not read any reviews before going to Dos Mestizos. I read about the Saturday night tapas bar and live music on a Boracay blog and just had to try it out. Never having tapas before I cannot compare it to other tapas but this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten!

probably one of the best restaurants around here together with epic, I liked the croquettes de quezo azul and the salpicao, house wine so so. nice ambience and authentic feeling
Amazing Spanish cuisine . As it's not right at the beach side the place isn't crowded. Beware of tapas portions: they are more like proper meals.
