The Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located in the flourishing Intramuros district of Manilla, and is also called the Manilla Cathedral. The earliest church was established in 1581, and thereafter due to antiphons, earthquakes, and fires from war, it was destroyed numerous times, and reconstructed numerous times. The cathedral that we see now is the result of 6 reconstructions.
