Milan and Venice: The Best of Italy
Embark on a journey through Milan and Venice, two iconic cities in Italy. From Milan's vibrant energy to Venice's romantic canals, these destinations offer a memorable experience.
Lost in the centuries
In the heart of Milan, my journey through Duomo di Milano was a captivating blend of history, art, and breathtaking views. As I ascended the stairs to the terraces, the cityscape unfolded beneath me, a modern metropolis juxtaposed against the timeless beauty of the cathedral’s spires.
The sculptures adorning the exterior told tales of craftsmanship and dedication. Each intricately carved figure seemed to breathe life into the stone, whispering stories of the artisans who had left their mark over the centuries. It was a tangible connection to the past, a living testament to the city’s rich history.
Reaching the terraces, the panoramic view was nothing short of enchanting. Milan stretched out in all directions, a vibrant canvas of life and culture. The juxtaposition of ancient architecture against the backdrop of a modern cityscape created a visual symphony that left me in awe.
Inside the cathedral, the play of sunlight through stained glass bathed the space in a kaleidoscope of colors. The air was filled with a sense of reverence as I wandered through the vast interior, marveling at the intricate details of the chapels and the soaring arches above.
Duomo di Milano was not merely a structure; it was an immersive experience that transcended time. Each step carried me through centuries of history. Imagine, they spent over 6 centuries to build it! 😍Each glance revealed the artistry of those who had contributed to its creation. It was a day where the beauty of the view, the allure of the sculptures, and the richness of history converged, creating a memory etched in the tapestry of my traveling.
I definitely recommend to buy a tickets to the top 🔝 upstairs, it’s a pure beauty, combined with city view, which I explained above. :)

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Italy’s oldest shopping gallery
#winhkflight #shoppingmall #Milan #Italy
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is Italy’s oldest shopping gallery and one of Milan’s most iconic landmarks. It is located in the centre of the Milan, Italy, near the Piazza del Duomo. It is a popular destination. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II has a wide range of boutiques, shops that sell luxury goods or fashion and restaurants that serve traditional Italian cuisine. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is famous for its stunning architecture of glass vaulted arcade and a central octagonal dome that created a grand and luxurious ambiance. It is a must visit if you are in Milan.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to shop in their malls.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II Facts
Sharing some fun and interesting facts about this grand masterpiece - Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II:
1. The main entrance is a monument in itself (and guess what I didn’t end up taking a photo with it, whoops…just means I have to go back).
2. Take a look at the floors of this magnificent building - they are truely remarkable and the central octagonal part of the gallery features the coats of arms of 4 Italian cities.
3. The roof of the gallery was completely destroyed during WWII and had to be completely restored.
4. Apparently, McDonald’s hasn’t been welcome here since 2012 (but you can find a chain of it just around the corner outside, which to @__marievi__ and my surprise was packed and had constant queues outside).
5. Did you know there is a gorgeous hotel situated inside the gallery, well there is! For those of you looking to book a special few nights in Milan, this place should definitely be on your radar.

Duomo Di Milano Italy
We had a nice and terrific day during our visit in Milan. The cathedral is really huge and was amazed to think over how the people managed to build such thing during that time. The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete: construction began in 1386, and the final details were completed in 1965 as per history.
Too bad we weren't able to go inside to see the beauty of this famous sight.

Stadio San Siro Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
San Siro Stadium
#celebratewithtrip
AC Milan and Inter both call the San Siro home which has a capacity of 80000. Although officially named the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after a two-time World Cup winner who played for both Milan teams, his legendary status at Inter means that AC Milan fans universally ignore the official name.
The San Siro museum and stadium tours are available on most days, unless there is a match, concert or other event that day.
The museum gives visitors a interesting look at the stadium’s history with shirts and other memorabilia from some of the greats to have graced the turf. But it’s the stadium tour that most visitors enjoy the most.
The self-guided tour lets you visit the media area known as the ‘mixed zone’, the strikingly different locker rooms of both AC Milan and Inter, walk out to the pitch through the players tunnel, and take in the view of the pitch from different parts of the stadium including some of the hospitality seats.
It a must visit for any soccer fan

Visiting the San Siro stadium in Milan Italy thanks to my Trip.com promo codes.... Extraordinary stadium with extraordinary fans in an extraordinary country. Truly once in a lifetime opportunity to see this great stadium. #tripblazers #mytripvlog #bucketlistreboot
Cosy Italian restaurant at San Siro !
Their Pizza is Awesome !! I had their Gorgonzola, tomatoes and Pears Pizza 🍕 Just simply ‘Mamma Mia’ 🇮🇹
Restaurant : IL Borgo Restorante Pizzeria
Going to the San Siro stadium is my first and most important reason to come to Italy. The stadium was built in 1926 and belonged to the kind of building that is not allowed to be demolished. The ownership is the city of Milan, which is shared by two teams in Milan: AC Milan and Inter Milan. In 1980, the stadium was renamed Meazza Stadium. Since Meazza was a hall of Inter Milan, AC Milan fans were reluctant to call it Meazza and continued to use the name of San Siro. During the day, you can buy tickets to the stadium and explore. The tour is led by a staff member, and he explains everything in English. There are restrictions on the time of the tour. Here you can visit the auditorium, the player interview area, the player locker room, etc. There are three locker rooms at the San Siro stadium, AC Milan and Inter Milan each have a fixed locker room, and the other is the visiting team locker room. There are two teams in the honor room under the stadium, showing the glorious history of the two teams, which includes trophies, jerseys, old photos, and so on.
