Nice waterfall, but lots of garbage
The waterfall itself is really nice. If the sun shines from the right direction you can see rainbows as well. There is also a shrine right next to the waterfall. It is best to go there by car and park...
A toilet and a donation box for maintenance cooperation money (100 yen) are installed at the entrance from the paved road to the waterfall. Climb a staircase path about 200m from there to Kanebiki Falls. There are three small waterfalls on the way. Konbiki Falls has a covered observatory and benches. It's not exciting or powerful, but the scenery of several waterfalls falling on the bedrock is spectacular.
I unexpectedly met a healing waterfall. During my crab trip to Kyotango, I went to the waterfall I found on the map because I like waterfalls. I built a bridge for the first time, but unexpectedly I met a waterfall that came suddenly.
It is less than 5km round trip from "Roadside Station Umi no Kyoto Miyazu". (Roadside Station parking is free until 5 hours) After walking on the sidewalk along the almost straight driveway, go up the road next to the high school on your right. It's easy to understand because there are several signs when you approach. I walked for exercise, but I can also drive to the parking lot of Kanabiki Falls. The number of parking is small and it is a narrow road that is difficult to pass, but it is recommended on weekdays. Also stay time 1...
About 1km from Miyazu High School Bus Stop. It takes about 15 minutes on foot because there are uphill and stone steps. Selected as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan (only in Kyoto Prefecture). According to the explanation board, it is 40m high and 20m wide, but I don't feel the power because several water muscles flow down the rock. There is Kanebiki Fudoson on the rocky area in front of the waterfall.

A waterfall without a waterfall

A waterfall that slips down a rock
