Xijin Ferry, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, is located at the foot of Yuntai Mountain to the west of Zhenjiang city, and is a historical relic built along the Poshan plank road. Xijin Ferry's ancient street is the area where the most, most concentrated, and best-preserved cultural relics and historical sites in Zhenjiang are located. It is the 'cultural vein' of the famous historical and cultural city of Zhenjiang. The district has a total of 38 cultural heritage conservation units, including 3 at the national level and 6 at the provincial level.

Jinling ferry terminal's small mountain pavilion, a night's stay can bring a traveler's sorrow. At ebb tide, the slanting moon over the night river, a few flickering lights mark Guazhou. Xijindu, also known as Jinling Ferry, has a long history spanning five dynasties, and it is a place with many ancient relics, including a small stretch of road that offers a 'thousand-year view'. Xijindu, different by day and night, just a slight climb up the hill allows one to overlook most of the district, with its beautifully arranged houses. The ruts on the stone-paved road tell stories of the past, and at the end of the ruts, life continues as it is today. It's raining today, a bit cold, and there are few tourists, with most shops not open. Perhaps that's why I love this place. The closed shops either have retro wooden doors or quiet and beautiful facades. If the weather were good and there were many tourists, it would probably be no different from Lijiang or Zhouzhuang. Although the weather is not good, I like the set of photos I took; the wet alleys have a certain feel to them. The advantage of the off-tourist season is the absence of people, but the shops close early too, and because of this, I walked into an exceptionally quiet Xijindu. Slowly feeling the accumulation and changes over a thousand years. The deserted Xijindu at night is too beautiful, so beautiful that I don't want to leave, wanting to keep walking like this, into the stories of its generations.

Xijin Ferry Ancient Street is the area with the most, most concentrated, and best-preserved cultural relics and monuments in Zhenjiang.
