Meiling Palace is one of the attractions to go to Nanjing this summer. In fact, I wanted to go very early, and I bought a coupon to play. The First Villa in the Far East, completed in the early 1930s, is the place where Chiang Kai-shek and Song Meiling often rest and vacation. The building looks a bit old but well maintained, with a three-story mountain-style palace-style building covered with green glazed tiles. The surrounding greenery is very good, with towering trees and lush vegetation. From the first floor, the ground floor is the reception room, the secretary's office, etc. The west side of the second floor is the reception room and living room, and the east side is the bedroom of Chiang Kai-shek and Song Meiling. One room, one room, the restaurant and the kitchen are my favorite. Of course, their bathroom is very nice, very westernized, and there is a small chapel inside.
