Gokō-in

General worship of Nara gokoin is not performed. It is the temple of the principal image of the common name, the Afro Amida Buddha statue of the Afro Amida. The temple's name is also derived from Gohonzon, and it is thought of the temple. When you wish to visit, it is possible to ask for a special visit or by telephone beforehand.

This is a temple with a long history in Kyoto. It remains intact after many disasters. A sleeping Buddha in the temple is worth visiting.

The five robbery courts are equivalent to a place of confession. If you can't let anything go, you can come here to complain.

I love the feeling of this courtyard. It's full of Japanese classical feeling.

Every year there will be a special statue of Amitabha Buddha in a special open temple, wearing a wig like Aphrodite.
