Many renowned culinary talents have tried to take New York, but none of them have hit as many right notes from the start as Thomas Keller, with his pitch-perfect urban counterpoint to French Laundry.
310 menu with 3 glasses of wine ended up around $500. Exceptional service, but little 'wow' factors from the food. Love the beef, halibut and egg custard with white truffle oil. Ask for a kitchen tour
Simply AMAZING, the best of the best... RECOMMENDED DISHES Oysters and Pearls, gateau of foie gras, butter-poached lobster ... ;)
Excellent view, service, and the food is not too bad either, although the proteins were a bit overcooked...
"It'll still take you five hours to stuff yourself silly on foie gras and truffles as a cavalcade of servers fawns over you." -Forbes Travel Guide on TripExpert
The oyster and pearls is a true Thomas Keller classic with the "sea-xiest" mouthfeel. It is chic—briny, creamy, plump, and delicate.
few glasses of wine and fell asleep during the course. it took three hours to finish but it was heaven
http://Perseny.com | 3 Michelin Stars | Perfect execution & constant evolution define Thomas Keller’s superb restaurant. Dine in plush modernity overlooking Central Park. Daily-changing menu. Sublime!
A 3 Michelin Star & World's Top 50 Best Restaurant (#11, 2013). Legendary Chef Thomas Keller's French Laundry counterpart. 2nd to none in service w/ a beautiful view and romantic ambience. Amazing!
Fine 1.7: Thomas Keller (a la French Laundry fame). It is supposed to be quite old school - pretty sure guys have to wear jackets! Keller is considered the US's most well regarded French trained chef.
