A lot of people expect deep pan pizza when they visit America, but real authentic pizza is perfectly thin, large, not to wet and baked in a real wood fire oven. Tre Sorelle (translates to Three Sisters) delivers on all counts. We visited on a Sunday, it wasn't busy but they were taking lots of orders for delivery. This seemed to be the norm for most places in the financial district on the weekend. Service was great, the usual and friendly NYC hospitality. The waitress remembered our order without writing anything down, the food came out quickly and everything was correct, even though my partner asked for alterations to the menu. Price was very reasonable, cheaper than we would pay in the UK for an equivalent service. Atmosphere-wise, there wasn't really anything to judge as the place was pretty empty, but the music was nice, American football was on the TV and you get to choose where you sit. The tomato sauce that came with our arancini starters immediately reminded my Italian partner of his mother's sauce at home. If that doesn't scream authenticity, I don't know what does.
