When you come to New York for the second time, you don't have to spend money on the island to see the Statue of Liberty. Sit back and forth at Staten Island Ferry, free and comfortable. Because the two friends went to board the Liberty Island by boat, I took the round-trip ferry happily alone. The ferry departs every half an hour during off-peak periods, and the one-way trip takes almost half an hour. There are no particularly attractive attractions on Staten Island, so you can go back in the sun for a while in the dock area. There are not too many people on the boat. As long as you don’t sit in the indoor area, there are landscapes everywhere, with the Statue of Liberty on one side and Manhattan on the other. But the sea breeze will still be a little cold, so it is recommended to put on a coat or a scarf.
It’s really good for taking pictures here, you can take a lot of pictures of the skyline, islands and the Statue of Liberty. The ferry here runs approximately every 20/30 minutes. This island is not particularly beautiful, but if you like hiking and history, then this is for you. There are many interesting sights with historic buildings.
