Jiangzhe Fenfu

In the Ming Dynasty, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Branch Office was called Zhejiang Direct Branch Office, which was a unique government agency in Wuzhen history. He was in charge of patrolling salt and catching thieves, and he also handled local lawsuits, commonly known as Erfu Yamen. Since its establishment in Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty, it has been reformed several times, and its site has been changed several times, which lasted for more than 370 years. In 2004, the Jiangsu-Zhejiang branch was rebuilt in accordance with the original site of the Qing Dynasty and Tongzhi, in order to preserve historical relics. Among them, the court, prison, torture room, messenger, coachman and other rooms are all displayed, as well as various simulated execution scenes, from which you can get a glimpse of ancient government affairs and life scenes. History: Wuzhen is located at the junction of two provinces, three prefectures and seven counties. In the nineteenth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1540), a member of the General Court was added, and a superintendent in the town was built. In the third year of Wanli (1575), due to the rampant salt robbery around Wuzhen, a member of the general arrester was added. Administering water conservancy and salt laws, arbitrarily accepting lawsuits, eradicating rape and malpractice, all nearby prefectures and counties listen to restraint. As a result of the expansion of the original house, it was called the Zhejiang Branch. In the early Qing Dynasty, it followed the construction of the Ming Dynasty, and it has experienced many ups and downs. In the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860), the hall was destroyed, and it was rebuilt in the fourth year of Tongzhi (1864). In 1915, the price was sold to the private sector, the building was removed, and it gradually became a private residence.
