Ningbo Tianyi Pavilion is the earliest private library in China and the earliest library in Asia. Built in Ming Jiajing forty years (1561) to forty-five years (1566), dating back more than 450 years. The owner of Tianyi Pavilion is Fan Qin, the right minister of the Ming Dynasty. Fan Qin likes to read and collect books. He has collected more than 70,000 books in various books. After the death of Fan Qin, the eldest son Fan Dichong inherited the collection of more than 70,000 volumes of his father's collection, forming the ancestral training of Tianyige, "there is no book, no book." The original Tianyi Pavilion was not open to outsiders. Until 1676, Fan Qins descendant Fan Guangtao made an exception to help the universitys Huang Zongqi to go to the building to read the Tianyi Pavilion, making Huang Zongxi the first foreigner to enter Tianyi Pavilion. Since then, Tianyi Pavilion has gradually closed its closed state and is open to famous scholars. 1773, when Emperor Qianlong repaired the "Siku Quanshu", Fan Qin VIII Sun Fanyuzhu entered the 641 species of Tianyi Pavilion. Among the books in the collection, five-fifths of the income is in the "Siku Quanshu Head". But all the books were not returned, which caused the Tianyige collection to drop to 4,819. Tianyi Pavilion is also a private garden of Zhedong style, and the courtyard is simple and elegant. The whole Tianyi Pavilion covers an area of 26,000 square meters, the old trees are towering, the bamboo is green, and the city is not smashed.
