    Large beach

    This is a really large clean beach about five minutes from the station. A pleasant walk through Oeiras valley to reach as an alternative

    If you get by train, then this is the nearest beach worthy of Lisbon. It takes 5 minutes to walk from the station. There is a cafe and a McDonald's nearby.

    Good urban beach experience

    Can be somewhat crowded, but it is relatively large and enables a good beach experience. Clear (and cold) waters with some wind in the afternoon
