WUXIPENG.

Osaka Shitennoji is the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan and one of Osaka's main landmarks. It was built in 593 AD and has a history of more than 1,400 years. The temple is dedicated to the Salvation Bodhisattva and the Four Kings. It is the tallest and most majestic building out of the Buddhist temples. Although it is the most famous Buddhist temple in Osaka, there are relatively few tourists at the Shitennoji Temple as compared to the Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Kinkaku-ji Temple in Kyoto.  There is an environment in the courtyard that is not invaded by the world. The most beautiful time in the Sitianwang Temple is at twilight. At this time, the whole temple is more solemn and magnificent. Despite the war and natural disasters, Sitian Temple still maintains its historical features. Its temple architecture is deeply influenced by China. There are many celebrations every year, including Doya-Doya Festival, Holy Spirit Society and Wandawang Temple Wasso. These fully demonstrate the status of this ancient traditions even in the millennium.
