There are many kinds of Nobel Prizes. There are only one kind of prizes here. The rest are frequently awarded in the Square of City Hall in Stockholm, Sweden, such as physics, chemistry, literature and so on. This is the Peace Center. Naturally, only the Peace Prize is awarded. On the second floor, the head in each small frame is a person who has made special contributions to peace. Every other time, the sound of the award will be sounded, making people feel immersed in the situation.
The Nobel Peace Center in Oslo is a very small pale yellow building, which was rebuilt from the old railway station in Oslo. It is not far from the City Hall and Akshuth Castle, and within walking distance of the Palace.
Close to Oslo City Hall, at an intersection of trams, the creamy yellow buildings stand out on the blue sky and the white clouds of the sea. There are also cafes and shops with information about past Peace Prize winners and Alfred Nobel Prize winners. Some sources say that the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony is held here every Dec. 10, and more importantly, at the Oslo City Hall in the Red House. I think the latter is right. This place was rebuilt from an old railway station.
The library has many materials and articles related to the Nobel Peace Prize. It can understand the life introduction and related materials of the Nobel Peace Prize winner. It has a long insight and is worth visiting. You can listen to the explanation, but not very much.
The Nobel Peace Center has seen a lot of interesting content and presentation, as well as a large number of awe-inspiring contributors to world peace. But it's a little less interesting.
A Must to go place for everyone who is in the town or around. Please don’t miss it and make sure to the the installation of all nobel price winners.
Even though Alfred Nobel is Swedish and the annual Nobel Prize ceremony happens in Stockholm, Nobel Peace Prize is selected by Norwegian Nobel Committee appointed by the Parliament of Norway. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo City Hall each year.
