232***65Very unique view on the top of the mountain. We were actually late for the reservation, the restaurant helped us to postpon our booking from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. We were very grateful for the assistance they offered, everything was great, great view, great foods and great people!
d36***08A half-day tour of the lake by steamboat + Walter Plateau Ranch tour is a beautiful experience that is fresh in the memory of the Queenstown trip. From Queenstown Port to the Ranch Wharf, the steamboat takes 45 minutes one-way, a total of 1.5 hours round-trip voyage, and boat viewing. One is to watch the ancient style of the ship. The steamship TSS Earnslaw, built in 1912, has been baptized by wind and waves for more than a hundred years. It has grown stronger and stronger over time. It is the only coal-fired steamship still in normal operation in the southern hemisphere. Wandering on the boat, looking at the handsome captain at the helm, watching the young fireman swinging a shovel to deliver coals, listening to the melodious music of the teacher's nai luthier, and tasting the authentic taste of coffee and desserts. It is leisurely and comfortable. The second is to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the lake. On the deck, in front of the portholes, and in the corridors, you can admire the scenery of Lake Wakatipu up close. The lake breeze is blowing, the waves are dancing happily, the scenery is charming and refreshing.
Herman_travellerI visited Queenstown for 5 days and wandered around the lake every day happily. it's a very beautiful and peaceful lake with many ducks and seagulls and people like to gather there in the evening.
_We***24Lakes in the Midwest of South Island, New Zealand. Located in the eastern foothills of the Southern Alps, 280 meters (915 feet) above sea level. The area is 192 square kilometers (74 square miles). The basin area is 2,543 square kilometers (982 square miles). It is a glacial barrier lake. The deepest point may exceed 300 meters (1,000 feet). It is injected by Makarora and other rivers, which is the source of the Clutha River. There are sluices at the exit to adjust the water level and generate electricity. Wanaka Town on the Hunan side is the center of the tourist area.
M48***13Glenorchy in Queenstown is a small town with very beautiful scenery. It is located on the edge of the lake, with large green spaces and one colorful wooden house. It seems that everything is so peaceful, natural, and here. The air is exceptionally fresh and it is definitely a good place for life.

Queenstown is beautiful town rounded by mountains and amazing landscapes. There’s lots of things to do here! Moreover, it’s a fun city with good vibes. don’t miss it!
At the Glenorchy, a small town in the south of Ottago. Visiting this place is such a great experience. The road trip alone is worth our time. do stop and take your time appreciating the stunning views along the way. The lakefront is also a beauty to behold. I suggest to bring your food and have a picnic somewhere. It’ll be such a waste not to eat while immersed in the beauty of nature.
Around Queenstown central. This town surely have a lot to offer. You can go shop, dine and play. Crowds of people come by during the day. A lot of tourists too. Ate at a wonderful restaurant near the river. Visit if you ever come by Queenstown.

#awesomepic 🪂🪂Arrived at NZONE in Wanaka before 12 o'clock, located near Wanaka Airport. When determining the itinerary, skydiving is the first thing to do. It turns out that you really fall in love with the feeling of falling freely from high altitude, which is really cool. At that time, I thought I could jump directly at 12 o'clock, but then I found out that the ones that were ranked at 11 o'clock had not jumped yet. I bought a NZONE skydiving product online. When you arrive, first go to the front desk to register, then go to the projection room to watch a security video, and then fill in the information on the iPad. Only when the fast turn is up for you to jump, will you be charged for additional shooting. There are two types of shooting: a coach holding a gopro, and a third person to help you shoot. I chose a third person to shoot. After a little more, I was notified that it was our turn, and then I could switch the scene to the prepared area. Because the temperature will drop sharply after the plane rises, it is recommended that you still wear long-sleeved trousers and jumpsuits. Your own camera can be brought into the preparation area and can be stored in a locker with valuables after use. The moment he left the cabin, the wind fluttered the flesh on his face, and the flesh shook all over his face. Because I was afraid, I couldn't help screaming. Anyway, the sky was so big that no one could hear how loud I shouted. However, the essence of skydiving is just so few tens of seconds.
One of the most iconic views on the South Island of New Zealand: Roy's Peak. Travel tip: Start hiking at 4am if you want to catch sunrise on top of the mountain AND beat the heat (I couldn't image doing this hike under the hot sun).
The castle was very rich with history if Dunedin. The castle us also very well maintained for how old it was and the gardens were alot better than I anticipated. If you are going here, please pay the extra to go through the castle. It was better than expected, but beware of the high road going to the castle as it is kind of narrow. A smaller vehicle is probably for the best. #wintergetaway
This is a very attractive lake that borders Queenstown. There are many options for enjoying the including cruises, jet skis and paddle boarding, but be careful as the water is very cold and a thick wetsuit is recommended. Interestingly, there is a seiche that is a slow tidal wave that is sort of like a tide that raises and lowers the water level by 8 inches every 27 minutes. #wintergetaway
