A statue of a character in a upset red shoe

    Original Text

It was in a canal park where I went walking around the city of Otaru. It is a statue of a girl (Kimi Sano), a mother (Kayo Iwasaki), and your father-in-law (Shiro Suzuki) who appears in the nursery rhyme "Red Shoes". A statue with bright red shoes

    Original Text

In a section of the Canal Park at the edge of the North Canal, there is a statue of a parent and child 3 person about the height of a person. The color tone of this statue is monotone, but only the shoes worn by the girl are bright red. The contrast between the monotone and the bright red of the entire statue is very eye-catching.

It is located in the canal park opposite the former NYK Otaru branch, which is designated as an important cultural property. Don't forget to visit the NYK Otaru branch. The red shoes are really impressive statues.
