Mao Wushan Outlook (Mount Kenashi Lookout) is a Maowushan Mountain Outlook in Otaru City, Hokkaido. Here, whether it is the scenery of Otaru City, or the beautiful Sea of Japan not far away, it is unobstructed. When the weather is clear, the sea is particularly beautiful. Sometimes there will be three or two couples on the mountain to date, whenever night falls, the outlook can let us have a panoramic view of the lights of Xiaoyan. Looking at Pingchuan, my wife and I drove from Otaru City to Jile Road Resort in Chichuan Village on National Highway 393 to the observatory of Moahi Mountain above 470m above sea level. The Jishan Viewpoint is located halfway up the mountain and belongs to Kenashi in the south of Otaru City. With the help of GPS, it takes about 30 minutes by car from Otaru city. We were lucky to drive to Maowushan Outlook on a very sunny day. The views of Ishikawa and the city are great. We also enjoyed the views of the mountains outside Ishikawa. Kenashi-yama means "mountain without hair". Some information says that from this perspective, you can see a mountain in the northeast is " Mashike-yama" or "additional mountain". Is it very interesting to name the peak in Hokkaido? Not so. They say "kenashi" comes from Ainu, meaning "mountain". For this sound, the Japanese gave two characters "ke" or hair, and "nashi" had nothing. In addition to the landscape, we could also find Hokkaido breweries on the route to the attractions. It offers a rich wine tasting service and becomes one of Japan's most famous wine producers. There are Tiangou Temple and Tiangou Museum on the mountain. Tiangou is a legendary creature of Japanese folk religion and is also considered a kind of Shinto god or monster (ykai). Although the name comes from the "Tindog Eating Day", the Tindog was originally thought to have appeared in the form of a raptor, and traditionally both have the characteristics of humans and birds. The earliest tempestuous dog was depicted with a lizard, but this feature was later evolved into an unnatural long nose, and now this sign is widely considered to be a unique feature of tempestuous dog.
