The former Mitsubishi Bank Otaru Branch is currently used as the Otaru Canal Terminal. The building is very large and was built in 1922 and Taisho 11. This also doesn't make you feel old at all. There are many Greek temple-style columns at the entrance, and it feels authoritative. The buildings of Yasuda bank, Mitsui bank, and Mitsubishi bank remaining in Otaru are only the former zaibatsu system buildings, and the dignity and scale of the buildings remaining in the surrounding area are also outstanding.
