Pai County World War II Bridge, rusted iron bridge railings, broken old bridge bottom board is a trace of disrepair, engraved with vicissitudes. Several old tricycles and motorcycles were placed on the bridge, and the labels belonging to that era were attached. The river flows down the bridge, and the torrential water never stops. World War II Bridge was built by the Japanese during World War II. The bridge is on the way to Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai. It is said that in 1942, Japan had already invaded a large number of Southeast Asia. In order to facilitate Thailand's attack on Myanmar and India, in order to facilitate the transportation of military operations, the Japanese decided to build a railway connecting the Thai-Myanmar border. In order to complete the railway that was built in six years, the Japanese army used bayonets to force hundreds of thousands of workers to work day and night. The heavy labor and bad conditions caused 16,000 prisoners of war and 100,000 civilians to die under the hunger and sickness of the Japanese army and ruin the wilderness. This flesh-and-blood railway is therefore called the "Death Railway."
