The Orsay Museum itself is a railway station designed by architect Victor Laloux for the 1900 World Exposition. The museum mainly displays Western art works from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, decorations, photographs, architectural drawings. Go to the Louvre to see ancient art, go to Pompidou to see modern art, go to the Olympics to see modern art. On the 5 floor there are Degas dancers, as well as Monet's water lily, and the big clock that can see the Sacred Heart.
