Small, but gorgeous. Get there early to ensure you won’t have to wait in line that long. The inside of the chapel is breathtaking.
One of the most breathtaking buildings I have ever been in. It is incredible. The stained glass is beautiful. As you go up the narrow staircase and see all the colors and light shining through the windows you'll forget everything but this view. It really is amazing. Well worth the 10 euros or so definitely see it if you're in Paris!
While I think the price to enter is a little steep at €10, the windows are so breathtakingly beautiful, it’s definitely a must see! This is very close to the Notre-Dame, so very easy to do right after. Take note that the stairs to get up to the main part of the church are very steep and narrow!
Absolutely breathtaking. The stained glass windows in the high towers are truly amazing.
The Location: Metro #4, Exit "Cite". Only a few minutes walk from the metro station. There is a sign right outside metro station. The Admission: 8.5 euro (included in museum pass) Built by Saint Louis in 1246 to house the relics of the Passion of Christ. The jewel of Gothic art is adorned with beautiful stained glass windows and remarkable sculpted decoration. Have to wait in line for security check. The church is pretty small so won't take too long to check it out. Nearby there are Notre-Dame and Conciergerie to check it out.
Of all of the churches in Europe I have seen, I think I love this one the best. Such wonderful detail.
This church has the moat beautiful vitreau that I have ever seen in my life!
