I have been married to my spouse for years and this was one of my favorite fun, relaxing Saturday date nights. We were just around the corner and my spouse saw the sign number 38. We found easy parking and walked through the street. Very busy but we found a seat at the bar. We were lucky to find such a warm, low-key bartender. He was fantastic! He recommended some of his favorite foods and even let us do a digestive sample if we weren&rsquo;t familiar with it...so amazing!!!! I ordered a Hemingway beer and my spouse had a drink. The service was great and very welcoming. Our favorite was the variety of menu options... roast bone marrow, duck meat and of course the best salad and burgers. We tasted garden salad (it was big and delicious, fresh beets, fresh clams (yes...!)!!!) and a variety of other delicacies. We tasted clams and mussels in Thai coconut soup... (Oops, seriously, it tasted like we were in Thailand!! The service, the atmosphere (fun, casual and fashionable) are all worth a visit and we will be back even if we need an hour to get here!! Thank you.

We had everything delicious. I had maui burger and we had chips, sweet potato chips and onion rings together. Also, it was cleaned with an orange cream smear. Everything was delicious and seating was not a problem. A great dinner spot before the Rose Bowl concert.
