cycling and hiking to Macau picchu. no trains
Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472). Often mistakenly referred to as the “Lost City of the Incas” (a title more accurately applied to Vilcabamba), it is the most familiar icon of Inca civilization. The Incas built the estate around 1450 but abandoned it a century later at the time of the Spanish Conquest. Although known locally, it was not known to the Spanish during the colonial period and remained unknown to the outside world until American historian Hiram Bingham brought it to international attention in 1911.
Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. Its three primary structures are the Inti Watana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Most of the outlying buildings have been reconstructed in order to give tourists a better idea of how they originally appeared. By 1976, thirty percent of Machu Picchu had been restored and restoration continues.
Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide Internet poll.

Trip of a Lifetime | Cusco, Peru!
#wecreate
A visit to cusco is a lifetime trip. ❤️
Cusco is the capital of the Inca Empire and is a city that never fails to impress me!
Its vibrant culture and history, stunning architecture, and landscapes are breathtaking. It is home to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the iconic Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
What I love the most are the narrow streets, lined with colonial-era buildings and Inca ruins!
The city's central square, the Plaza de Armas, is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere and watch the world go by.
And, of course, no visit to Cusco is complete without sampling some of the delicious local cuisine, such as ceviche, lomo saltado, and quinoa soup. If you are adventurous enough, they even have alpaca meat. #cusco
Red Valley - not just Red but Breathtaking!!
Red Valley, also known as Valle Rojo, is a STRIKING natural wonder located in the Cusco region of Peru.
It is a few hours away from Cusco, and is at a hiking distance away from The Rainbow Mountain.
The valley is named for its red rock formations, which create a stunning contrast against the blue sky. You can hike through the valley then marvel at the unique geological formations, including towering cliffs, canyons, and rock formations!
There are a few villages and to get to some viewpoints, you may need to pay the locals. But still, it is a good way to interact with indigenous locals! With its stunning natural beauty and cultural significance, Red Valley is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the Cusco region. #Redvalley #peru
Humedal De Huasao - Cusco
#passionpassport
Since its opening Huasao Wetland has become a very popular tourist attraction site. This popularity is thanks to the presence of the movie characters that are admired and loved by children and adults. When you get there you will see the following movie characters carved in wood. We can see Towering statues of Ents that are trees that walk and talk in the “Lord of the Rings” movies. A smaller reproduction of Groot from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” series. Many verities of birds and other fun activities. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #travel Inspiration #traveladdict

"The inheritance of the Inca civilization, the incredible military fortress"
Some people say that Cuzco City is seen from the air, it is like a cougar, Sasavaman is his head, and the ancient city of Cusco is his middle The nobles home is his tail. In the first chapter of today, let's take a look at the head of the "cougar" - Sasavaman (also known as "Sax Sewaman").
Sasawaman is a Stonehenge. It is built on the mountain. It is a golden soup that guards the safety of the ancient city of Cusco. After several major earthquakes, many buildings collapsed, but it still stands proudly. Proud of the Quartet.
Into the scenic area, I saw a row of megaliths displayed there, these boulder seem to silently tell the glory of the Inca civilization. Entering the Stone Array, the first thing you see is an open area surrounded by small hills and terraces. Standing on a high hill overlooking the distance, you can see the densely populated houses on the hillsides. It is the ancient city of Cusco. Some Indian women in the ancient city took pictures with alpaca and tourists.
Going along the walls of the stone array, fingers touched every stone in the stone wall. Stone walls vary in size and shape. Like other Inca stone buildings, how to build it is still a mystery. It is difficult to insert a piece of paper in the middle of many stones. It's hard to imagine how to make this piece of stone spliced so many years ago without any adhesive. What's even more amazing is that a whole stone slab is built with stone. There are more than 300,000 pieces of stone, big and small, and there are many boulders weighing hundreds of tons. How to transport them and put them together? A piece of pieced together into a stone array.
After walking through the stone wall and going up through a stone door, it is a neat step. When you walk up, you can see the original foundation and shape. The center of the ancient building is a circular platform that extends towards the surrounding layers. It is said to have been a round tower-shaped building with a specially constructed platform inside, and the platform is connected to a labyrinthine passage. One or more of them lead to the tunnel.
We have not been able to interpret how huge stones are transported, nor can we detect what process is used to polish stones. If the Spanish colonists did not destroy the Inca civilization, then we might be able to explore the secrets of this civilization from other aspects, and solve many of the mysteries of the present, but history is history, and its value lies in its inability to replicate. !
Address: Sacsayhuaman.
Transportation: 1 From the Arms Square in Cusco, it takes less than half an hour to get to the foot of the mountain. 2 2 km from the ancient Peruvian city of Cusco, can be chartered to go.
Tickets: 90 Sol, but you can buy scenic spots in the mountains, just 180 Sol.
Opening time: Monday to Sunday 7

Enchanting Waterfalls of Huacachina
Nestled in the heart of Peru, the magical oasis of Huacachina will leave you spellbound. The breathtaking waterfalls here are a must-see for any adventurer seeking natural beauty.
The Huacachina waterfalls offer an escape from the bustling city life. As you hike through the lush greenery, the sound of rushing water becomes a soothing symphony. The cascades, hidden among the vibrant flora, create a picturesque scene that will take your breath away.
My personal tip is to visit during the rainy season when the waterfalls are at their fullest. The thundering water plunging into crystal-clear pools creates a mesmerizing sight. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the moment!
Exploring the waterfalls provides a thrilling, immersive experience. You can swim in refreshing pools, feeling the water rejuvenate your spirit. Be cautious of the slippery rocks, but don't let that deter you from taking a dip. The cool mist from the falls will invigorate both your body and mind.
Remember to bring sturdy hiking shoes, a waterproof bag, and plenty of water to stay hydrated during your adventure. Peruvian Rainbow mountain, 5200 meters above sea level, less oxygen, it's literaly breathtaking
yeah it's hard to breath when you have to reach to the top of the mountain by some kilometers walk with less oxygen on the air, then the scenery is also "breathtaking". But when you reach the top, it paid off. You will not regret.

Coach traveling on the river
This is a traditional way for coach to crossing the river at Peru. Driving the coach to the special boat by a skilled driver, that is not easy task. Whole coach will be dropped into river by inaccurate calculation. I can see how hard for this training.

On the Kayao Plateau at the junction of Bolivia and Peru, there is the world's largest plateau freshwater lake. Such a floating island completely woven from reeds faces the sun and the lake. There is no sound except the natural sound. Pull the children to go boating together, play with nature, play with the children, completely empty, high? nonexistent. Its name is a bit strange: Lake Titicaca
Once upon a time there was a floating island with a reed that was small to the island that was not shown on the map... The blue plateau of the lake, the crispy reed, the footsteps of the boat, the straw chair, and the three-year-old hand. The bear child who has succeeded in the mouth... The so-called years are so good.
Looking for a piece of reed, stacking up a floating island, covering a few cottages, raising a few fish, ducks, rowing their own boats, spending 10 minutes to go to the opposite side of the island to buy two bags of noodles and the way to the neighbors said that the leisure here is not extravagant Time is not busy, people are not anxious. The smile here is overflowing from life...
