Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center

A zoo in southern Phnom Penh. There were many animals as it was. However, it is difficult to go because it is far from the center.

The number of animals in Phnom Penh Safari Park is not very large. It is a distance from the city. It is still slightly inferior to the large zoos in China. The traffic is relatively small. You can enjoy some large mammals up close.

A small park opened after 8 o'clock in the morning. This zoo is quite fun and the scenery is beautiful. The construction area of the whole park is still quite large. It can attract many foreigners here, and there are quite a lot of wildlife varieties.

As a small country, it is not bad to have a safari park of this size.

It's not a typical zoo, but it's really the best in Cambodia. The zoo has few resources and is seriously under-resourced, so it's certainly popular for foreign visitors to pay for tickets (RMB 31). Visitors shouldn't expect too much; in the dilapidated gardens, there are empty cages. Bears, birds and alligators seem to be the zoo's "strong points", but nothing else. Animals are scattered (and seem to be arranged casually, especially primates). The facilities are very unobvious, like toilets, shops and restaurants. There are many "unformal" snack bars in front of the exit, but they only provide Cambodian food. Bring your own water! In this large garden, tourists need to take a car. It's too big to walk alone, especially the weather is generally hot. I took a taxi from Phnom Penh, plus I took a taxi to and from the zoo and spent 338 yuan. It took about 45-60 minutes to come from Phnom Penh. It may cost about 184-215 yuan to take a tutu car.

It's a zoo, but it's really an animal sanctuary. So the more than 1,000 animals you see are the most primitive. Excellent. You can see real animals. It is not close to the urban area and the traffic is not very convenient. It is suggested to take a taxi or chartered train.
