This time I stayed in Sunwing resort Kamala beach. It took two minutes to walk from the hotel lobby to Kamala beach. In October, when it was sunny, the waves were half-tall. The sand on the beach was thicker than the egg island. It was already 2 meters deep when I went out five steps into the sea. The best water-prone person would wear a life jacket and go into the sea again. If the water was not good, don't go down. The one or two meters off the beach were small stones. It's very difficult to walk. I was kneeling on the shoal and left a red print on the stone for a long time. Most of the people in this beach were Europeans, Europeans and Koreans who took pictures and sunbathed in the sun. Because it was a west-facing beach, they could only play on the beach in the morning. In the afternoon, the sun was very sunny. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's own horse-killing chicken was opened on this beach, and Thai horse-killing was 300 baht an hour. Chicken is very cost-effective, while listening to the waves while doing Thai horse killing chicken, super enjoyment, food, along the seaside there is a row of big stalls, because with children we did not choose to look for food in the big stalls, the same hotel Chinese couple used to eat but heard that it did not taste good, after dark, the beach is quiet, there are many fireflies on the beach.
In fact, this Kamara beach should be the least developed beach in the whole Phuket Island area, but on the contrary, it is more sensible that foreigners on this side have more things to play on the sea. There are also many high-end hotels nearby. Many restaurants in hotels are very nice and beautiful.
Kamara Beach was originally a quiet small fishing village. Unlike other beaches, Kamara Beach is still relatively undeveloped, and is the only major beach on Phuket Island that maintains the original appearance of the fishing village. Fanduoqi Paradise and the old appearance of the original fishing village attract many tourists, and the simple environment here makes many tourists stay. The tsunami had caused severe trauma here, but now everything has quickly recovered. Fishermen still cast nets here, and local bars still open their doors to welcome tourists and residents on the island. You can even take a long-tailed boat or dive to the north of the beach, explore the adjacent beaches, or take a tour around the island. Interested tourists can chat with local people and see fishing boats loaded with fish at sunset.
Kamala Beach is a nice strech of quiet beach, clean and has a good vibe. There are several good hotels, like Novotel and Intercontinental. A great beach club to hang out is Café del Mar. very good food and (healthy)drinks as well. The amazing(glutenfree) pizza’s are made by an Italian chef. Sunbeds to rent are available on the beach.
Originally a small fishing village, Kamara Beach is now the only beach on Phuket Island that remains the original fishing village. Fishermen living on Kamara Beach are still fishing with nets and living a quiet life as before. Kamara Beach also attracts many tourists because of its original ecology.
Recommended Thai restaurant, curry crab is big and fresh, the taste of Dongyin Gong soup is very special, there is a strange fragrance, it is not used to drinking. I tried the long-awaited mango glutinous rice. It was really very real. A whole mango was cut in half and placed on the table directly. The coconut milk-sprinkled glutinous rice was really sweet and fragrant. It was delicious but really sweet.
Kamara Beach on Phuket Island, with few people, good weather and beautiful scenery! Lie on the beach, make a colorful dream of Kamara beach extremely quiet and sparsely populated, let alone the Chinese people - I was completely conquered by the hotel I stayed in, swimming pool facing the sea, restaurant facing the sea, Cafe facing the sea, everything facing the sea is life.
