Canoe Lake

Lake Kaloy is a lake in Portsmouth. The lake has a good scenery, clear water, and green trees and flowers around it, which is very quiet. From time to time, water birds are playing on the lake, which looks like a very harmonious environment. I like that almost all the cities in the UK have such lakes, which let the city show aura.

The lake is beautiful and sparkling, especially in the sun.

This popular lake and park is just along from the pier. Kids enjoy crabbing, going out on a swan pedalo or messing around in one of the play parks. Plenty of grass area to sit and have a picnic plus cafe and toilet block . Up close the water is what I can only call “manky” - local council really need to get it emptied and cleaned - wouldn’t want one of my grandchildren falling in :-(. Watch out for the hordes of birds/swans/ducks - constantly on the prowl for leftover food scraps and can be a darn nuisance. Such a pity the lake in general looks so neglected.

At night, the lights bring different feelings to the lake, and the silence is mysterious. This is not the most important one in this city, but it is a very aura in this city. Travel advice in the UK is changeable in a day, it is recommended to go out with an umbrella, but because it is a temperate marine climate, the climate is relatively mild throughout the year, so you don't have to worry too much about the heat of the weather. Instead, the most suitable for travel is summer, its weather is the coolest, very suitable for travel.
