There's much to love about the fantastic Lobkowicz Palace, part of the Prague Castle compound but with separate admission since it's privately owned (by an American family, descendants of the original owners, from whom it was confiscated under the communists). The history here is deep, rich, royal, musical and absolutely fascinating, and it's all revealed via an excellent audio tour that's included in the entry fee. As an extra bonus, the views of the city below are phenomenal.
Fabulous family museum. Now back in the hands of the family..... Taken during war, then by the communists. family fled, now back in control and running museum. Incredible collection of musical instruments, original Beethoven script, weaponry etc. A MUST VISIT!! Lovely restaurant, spectacular view of Prague.
not many people come into this part of the complex. do so as the collection is incredible. a privately owned building within prague castle houses one of the best private collections in central europe. from renaissance art, arms, armour, instruments and manuscripts from beethoven and mozart!
A privately owned building in the Prague Castle Complex, it has a museum, a cafe and is a venue for afternoon classical concerts.
The palace has a large area and a large circle of peacekeeping.
This is an important museum of family crafts. It's interesting and exquisite. It's worth visiting.
