White Tower

The most beautiful castle in Czechoslovakia, also known as the White Castle, is located on a hill eight kilometers from the capital city of South Czech Republic, Bujeyovich. The white castle far from the city has also become a unique geographical symbol in the hinterland of Czech Republic. Living in a small town, it walks to the castle on the top of the mountain. Located at the west end of the Gold Alley. Since 1584, as a prison for nobles, the last prisoner left the White Tower in 1743. Most of the people imprisoned here are debtors and thugs. Although the White Tower is not open to the public, it still has an interesting and frightening legend. On February 24, 1534, Karlstejn's wife, the bloodiest woman in Czech history, was imprisoned in the dungeon at the bottom of the White Tower. She was sentenced to death for killing 14 people, mostly young girls. Many of her cruel acts have been confirmed, such as cutting the victim's skin with a knife and spraying salt on the wound. She later died in the White Tower because of hunger and cold.
