This 650-hectare man-made lake is designed to act as a natural cooling system for the city and also for recreation, fishing, water sports such canoe and water transport like ferry tour. It's also giving you outstanding Prime Minister Office building view.
Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. It’s known for its late-20th-century architecture including the Putra Mosque, made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the immense, green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the prime minister’s office complex. The 3-tiered Putra Bridge is inspired by Iranian architecture, with 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the man-made Putrajaya Lake.
Putra Mosque is a gigantic pink dome located in the city of Putrajaya. Overall, I love the architectural design and given that, it is in front of the waters. I came here to just see the Mosque and take pictures from the outside. All worth the visit. #wintergetaway
The place is very beautiful and so worth visiting. But, there are too many people, and you might lose motivation to look around because of the crowd and the heat. It's very easy to go there FROM cyberjaya/putrajaya station. #wintergetaway
Putrajaya is a maze of boardwalks and lakes. If you’re visited in the daytime I would recommend biking or skating to beat the heat. A nighttime stroll by these waters is atmospheric but a set of wheels helps put the day’s stuffiness to rest. A good place for the kids to run and play just be weary of mosquitoes! #familyvacation #familyfun
A boat ride at dusk is really one of the best ways to appreciate the city of Putrajaya. Watch as the sky fades to darkness and the city lights up! Putrajaya is beautiful at night, aided by the light reflections off of the lakes and rivers below.
