Mount Guanyin Wangshan Temple Scenic Area is located about 8 kilometers away from Yingfo Road in Fogang County, Qingyuan City, and is a famous Chinese Buddhist mountain. The whole scenic area is covered with high mountains and thick forests. Its name derives from the resemblance of the mountains to Guanyin lying down. The scenic area is rich in natural resources, and there are many kinds of rare animals and plants, such as clouded leopards, pythons, pangolins, and spinulose tree ferns, which are known as "living fossils". The Wangshan Temple that can be seen by pilgrims today was rebuilt following its destruction in wartime. In the middle of the temple courtyard, there is a pure gold image of the four-handed thousand-eyed Guanyin, known as the treasure of the temple.
