The Quanzhou Confucian Temple was built in the late Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, when the prime minister Zhang Jiuling inscribed a plaque "Lu Sikou Temple". In the early years of Taiping and rejuvenation of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Confucian Temple was relocated here. After several repairs, the left and right temples were gradually completed. The regulation was gradually completed, and the scale continued to expand. It covers an area of nearly 100 acres, forming a traditional Chinese culture centered on Confucianism. An important base for wide spread in Southeast Asia. It is the largest Confucian temple complex in the southeast. In 2001, the Confucian Temple was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit, and it is one of the two Confucian temples in Fujian Province that are listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Dacheng Hall is a typical Song Dynasty double-eave hall-style structure. The whole hall is supported by 48 white stone pillars, and there are eight stone-carved dragon eaves pillars. There is a statue of Confucius in the center of the Dacheng Hall. On the beams, there is an imperial book of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, "Master of the World". The east of Dacheng Hall is Chongsheng Hall, named Huan Temple and Minglun Hall. In the temple, many cultural relics such as the Confucius Spring Well, where the Song Taishou wrote poems, are well preserved. These buildings constitute a complete Confucian temple complex.
