About Quxian: Qu County (渠县) is located in the southwest of Dazhou City. It is the birthplace of Northeastern Sichuan culture and plays an important part in Bashu culture. Famous attractions in the area include the Congren Valley Scenic Area, referred to as the “Little Jiuzhai” of Eastern Sichuan. Qu County also boasts an extremely colorful folk arts scene, with the folk cultural attractions of Bayu dance, Zhuzhi songs, Caiting festivals and Shualuo cymbals created by the unique artistry of the charming Qu people.
