Anbang River National Wetland Park is built on the basis of Anbang River Provincial Wetland Nature Reserve, located in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province, with a total area of 10,295 kilometers. It was approved as a provincial nature reserve in January 2001, and belongs to the inland wetlands and waters ecosystem reserve. In 2004, it was rated as a national AAA-level scenic spot, and in 2011 it was rated as a national AAAA-level scenic spot. It is the only national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot in Shuangyashan City. It is currently the only 12 national wetland parks in China. In October 2011, it was officially approved to become the first national wetland parks in China. There are 403 kinds of vascular plants and 218 kinds of vertebrates in the protected area, of which there are 3 kinds of first-class protected animals, namely red-crowned cranes, white cranes and scorpion cranes, 16 kinds of national second-class protected animals, 6 kinds of amphibians, 165 kinds of birds and 7 kinds of animals.
