The site of Angangxi is located 6 kilometers west of Angangxi District. It is one of the representative sites of fishing and hunting culture in northern China. In 1930, archaeologist Liang Siyong excavated it here, and many excavations later, and a large number of suppressed stone and bone tools for fishing and hunting were unearthed from the site and tombs. After carbon- 14 determination, its age is5000-6000 years away. This site has helped to study the stone age culture and ancient history of the northeast region in Heilongjiang Province, and has now been listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.
