We didn't have a great view from the 148th floor. We've been to the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, the old twin towers in New York, the Toronto TV Tower, and we'll find all these city views more interesting. The only advantage of Burj Khalifa is that it is currently the tallest building in the world. The best time to visit these buildings is prime time before sunset and dusk. We tried to book our trip at that time period but didn’t consider the 45 minute wait, we started rising at 6:30pm or missed the sunset. It was especially important in Dubai late afternoon as visibility was low in the morning as the city was shrouded in thick fog. The viewing platform was packed with tourists and was disappointing. It was also difficult to take good photos, as most of the observation areas had reflective glass and only a 4-inch gap allowed you to squeeze the camera into unobstructed areas. Please note that the observation deck is not on the top floor of the skyscraper. The price is expensive, especially given the crowding of tourists. If you want to show off that you have been to the tallest observation deck in the world, go ahead!
