The koala is an animal of the genus Koala, fat, thick, hairless and tailless. The koala spends most of its time on trees and almost all its life on the elm trees. Much of the day is spent sleeping, less than 10% of the time spent foraging, while other times are spent mostly sitting. The koalas almost never drink water, they eat a lot of koala leaves every day, and digest well. Distribution in Australia (NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria).
