Barcelona Zoo Review

We visited for the day and had a great time. The zoo is really nice and the animal exhibits are really good. The gorilla enclosure is a highlight. The only negative being many of the cafes were closed meaning it can be a struggle on a hot day when your looking for a drink.

Barcelona Zoo is a zoo in the Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The zoo used to be internationally known as the home of Snowflake, the only known albino gorilla, who died in 2003

The zoo is a nice peaceful place where you can escape from a busy city. It is such a massive park and the animals are treated well. Throughout the park there’s see-through labs where you can see exactly what goes on behind the scenes. The enclosures were quite small and we didn’t actually see many of the animals. Lots of birds. But the animals looked happy. You will need about approx 3 to 4 hours to finish your way around the park, or if you’re going extra slow you will need couples of hours more. Its highly recommend place for a day out.

We were able to do few things and had a wonderful day seeing the area. The place are clean, prompt and offer a nice commentary. I would highly recommend this tour!

Easily one of the most beautiful attractions in Barcelona that anyone should visit. Various animals that seems to be living in a very great conditions.
