Beijing Christian Bible Site Review

The former site of the Beijing Branch of the Christian Chinese Bible Society, located at 21 Dongdan North Street, once made a special printing and distribution of Christian Bibles for the Bible Society. Although it is not a Christian denomination, it is an indispensable institution for the dissemination of Christianity. The building is a combination of Chinese and Western architecture. The building covers an area of 1826 square meters, the plane is rectangular, the whole building is a one-meter high platform base, surrounded by traditional Chinese style stone railings, is a modern volume of Chinese traditional roof of the Chinese and Western combined architecture, in May 2013, the former site of the Beijing Branch of the Christian Chinese Bible Society was listed as The seventh batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide.

The Chinese Bible Society is located at 21 Dongdan North Street, South Gate is cinder Hutong No. 1, and is now a cultural relics protection unit in Beijing. It is not open to the other party. The building is surrounded by high walls and iron fences. The three-story building, a traditional Chinese large roof roll shed structure, was built in 1923 and was funded by the Maryland Bible Society, the main function is to print and distribute the Christian Bible.

The old site of the Bible Church is located at 21 Dongdanbei Avenue. It is a Chinese-Western building. It was donated by the Bible Church of Maryland in 1926. It is the representative building of the Christian Church.
