Brandenburg Gate Review

The Brandenburg Gate, because of its special status in Berlin and even Germany, has become the venue for many celebrations in Germany. Every December 31, the open-air New Year's Eve party is held, and the square and the streets are crowded with people, and the stage is set up to hold a grand live performance to cheer, and people welcome the New Year together during the fireworks tour at midnight.

The Brandenburg Gate is a neoclassical-style sandstone building modeled on the gates of the Acropolis. It is supported by 12 pillars, with 6 on each side of the east and west, and the front and rear columns are walls. The gate building is separated into 5 gates. The passage in the middle is slightly wider. It is designed for royal members. Earlier, only the royal family and guests invited by the royal family can pass.

Easy to find using S-Bahn (train). We went by ourselves and there was no guide. There were a lot of tourists but the pictures seen and taken were still amazing.

The Brandenburg Gate under the sunset looks very grand, there are some stage around when you go, there may be activities!

This is a landmark in Berlin, the German capital, created to commemorate victory as the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. If you have time, you must go once in the day and night, the scenery is very different, and the lights at night are so beautiful. The nearby government unit building is also worth visiting. I went there at the end of January this year. Although the weather was a bit cold, the scenery masked everything and it was a great experience.
