The stairs inside seem to be marble, the handrails are carved, and every detail is exquisite. Only local areas are open to the public inside the city hall, and there will be obvious signs to remind. I saw a large circular auditorium, expected to accommodate at least a thousand people. It is said that the clock tower of the City Hall can be visited, as a commanding height overlooking the panoramic view of Brisbane city, but I don't know why it was open when I went there.
