Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris Review

The original French name of Notre Dame is the first Christian church built at this address. The site of Notre Dame has a tortuous history. In the 4th century, it was a Christian church to worship St. Stephen. In the 6th century, it became a Roman church. Twelve cornerstones of the church were taken from the site of the original Roman temple.
