In Croatia's small, obscure city of Hibenik, there is a world heritage church: St. Jacob's Cathedral. From 1431 to 1536, generations of architects built this church with stone complete designs, including Gothic and Renaissance styles. The dome was damaged in 1991 by Serbian artillery shells and restored to its original appearance. The church is the world's largest pure stone church, and it took 100 years to build it. The 71 different-looking civic avatars on the side door and exterior walls of the church are very distinctive. On Sunday morning, the church was holding a mass, and a quiet photo was taken and then retreated.
