Kunqu Opera Museum of China is located in Pingjiang Historical Reserve, an ancient city of Suzhou. The museum now contains all kinds of cultural relics, ancient books and precious historical materials of Kunqu Opera and other operas. It is the only professional art museum in China that integrates the history, culture and art of Kunqu Opera. It aims at exhibition, exhibition, preservation, utilization and research, and creates a harmonious and unified humanistic environment for Kunqu Opera art originating in Gusu. Kunqu Opera, "Mother of Hundred Operas", was originally a strand of voiceless sounds from Kunshan. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, under the nourishment of landscape gardens, the north and the South radiated, and people competed to sing. Peking Opera, Yueju Opera, Sichuan Opera and many other kinds of operas, all draw nourishment from the singing and body of Kunqu Opera. With a smile and a sigh, the actors strive for excellence in the established performance program. They are art itself. Peony Pavilion, the Pearl of Kunqu opera art, is visiting Suzhou gardens. It's amazing that talented people and beautiful women dream of love. We only have a time to play and listen to the essence of Kunqu Opera for 600 years.
