The Cathedral of Notre Dame (Cathedral of Notre Dame) is a landmark of Munich. It was built between 1468 and 1494 in late Gothic style. Looking from Maria Square, there are two green onion-like roofs. This is the roof of Notre Dame Cathedral. This is a Gothic church. Gothic church is a spire, why is it a dome? The original church was built in the 15th century, but the spire of the church has not been completed. Fifty years later, in the sixteenth century, people decided to complete the construction of the top of the tower. By this time the Renaissance style had replaced the Gothic style. Gothic churches were then domed. That's keeping pace with the times. This dome style has become a model for many churches in Bavaria.
