Cloud Rock Leaning Pagoda (Yunyan Ta) Review

After entering the tiger hill, along the mountain road, the first refers to the Yunyan Temple Tower, which is the tiger hill tower. The tiger hill tower is a flat octagonal brick tower built in the Song Dynasty (961), with a total of 7 floors and a height of 47.5 meters. Due to the foundation, the tower has been tilting northwest since 400 years ago.

Locals call it the Tiger Hill Leaning Tower, but its real name is not much known. It is said that in the Spring and Autumn Wuba, there was a god beast white tiger plate on it, and later established a monastery here. The ancient temple has long disappeared, leaving only this millennium ancient tower, listening to the birds and Zen sounds in the lonely, watching the years in the yellow leaf flying dance.

The pagoda is located in the backyard of the Daxiong Pagoda. It is a well-preserved brick tower in the Northern Song Dynasty (key cultural relics protected nationwide). It is one of the iconic landscapes of Suzhou tourism.
