Monument to Victor Emmanuel II Review

Victor Emanuel's second-century memorial hall was built to celebrate Italy's unification in 1870. It took 25 years to complete and 1911 to complete. The building was nicknamed "typewriter" and was built entirely of white marble. The central riding figure is Victor Emmanuel II, who completed the great cause of Italian unification.
