Dancui Rainforest is a large area of primitive rainforest in the western suburbs of Keynes. It has tall trees, hot and humid climate. There are sightseeing trails in the rainforest. Sometimes there are small animals in the rainforest shuttling back and forth. Walking on the sightseeing trail, they feel very comfortable. The spirit of bird talk and flower fragrance is very good.

You must visit the 130 million year old Daintree Rainforest if you’re in tropical North Queensland! We went on a day trip from Port Douglas in a hire car. You can spend a whole day there if you plan properly or if you want longer there are multiple camp spots or eco lodges but one day could be enough. Book a croc river tour in the morning with Crocodile Express or Bruce Belcher’s tours which we did. Then drive towards Cape Tribulation by going across the river by ferry and stopping at the Daintree Discovery Centre, you’ll need an hour or so there to make the entry fee of about $30AUD worth it. Continue towards Cape Tribulation stopping at the boardwalk walks that take about 20mins each (there’s about 3 along the way). Grab some organic ice cream while you take in the sounds and smells of the one of the world’s oldest rainforests!

The Dancui Rainforest is very big. It takes a little short time to play and a long time on the bus. It's also interesting to find crocodiles in the Dancui River by boat. It feels like the link to Douglas Zoo can be omitted. The zoo is very small and can be seen in 20 minutes.

We rented a car to start the trip, and the map provided by Keynesian Tourist Center helped us a lot. It's not difficult to drive a beautiful car through the Dancui rainforest. Tropical rainforests are spectacular, without artificial sculpture, they are the miracles of nature. There are many good small cafes along the road. We all like to try Masons.

Keynes Dantsui Rainforest is a beautiful country park, because Keynes is very warm all year round, here is the typical tropical rainforest climate. There are not only dense rainforests, but also abundant animal and plant resources. You can see many rare wildlife on foot. It's really interesting and worth visiting.

From Keynes to Douglas Harbour, along the Captain Cook Highway, you will pass through eight scenic and pleasant bays, including Palm Bay and Sansheng Bay. On one side of the Cook Highway are mountains covered with lush primitive tropical rainforests, and on the other side are the vast blue Pacific Ocean. The scenery is comparable to Melbourne's "Most Beautiful Ocean Road". You should be prepared to watch by lying on the window in advance.
