As we were going to go to Paris and visit Musee d'Orsay, I wanted to go see the Birth of Impressionism exhibit that was going at the De Young Museum. The BF picked up tickets and off we went. Having done the King Tut exhibit before this, we knew where to go and what to expect in terms of lines and the crowds.Starting with "The Birth of Venus", it leads to you a wonderful tour of the beginnings of Impressionism with Manet and then with Monet, Renoir, Degas, and so many more. I saw some of my favorite Impressionist artwork in front of me and I didn't even need to go to Paris!Beautiful exhibit and I spent far too long staring at the artwork as the bf impatiently waited for me to finish. I picked up a copy of my favorite Degas picture, "The Dancing Lesson" to hang up after leaving the exhibit. It was a wonderful way to get me in the mood for Paris. I can't wait for the next exhibit!

I love this museum. We go every time we go to San Francisco because we love the location and the collection inside. There is also an extra suggestion to try the cafe inside. Last time we went, we had the custard and snacks they made that day, so delicious, in fact we found ourselves thinking about going back to eat!

Take the elevator up to the free sightseeing area of the tower and you will find it worthwhile to visit. From this you can see the spectacular view of San Francisco in 360 degrees. There is also a great cafe in the gallery.

Should be the only paid attraction on my trip (only to find that the next day is a free visit day, I), you can walk slowly for three hours, the exhibits have impressed me. Finally, on the sixth (or fifth) floor, when I got out of the elevator, I had a "wow" noise.

The only one who came to San Francisco this time I found very interesting! __________ Even twice! Full name De Young Museum, designer is the same design Beijing Bird's Nest Herzog! On the ninth floor of the observation, you can see the city of San Francisco. The main pavilion has exhibition areas with various themes. The content of the exhibition should be different in different periods. Tickets with student ID can be discounted.
