After leaving the Living Girl Temple, the tour guide took us to visit the Talai Pearl Temple, which was built in 1549. This 40-meter-high triple-eaves Golden Treasure Temple is the tallest temple building in Kathmandu and is said to have a typical Nepalese architectural style. Tarezu Bavani was the most respected goddess in the Mala Dynasty and was worshipped by the King of Mala as the goddess of the family. Therefore, the royal family temple was built on a platform 12 stories higher than the general temple. Unfortunately, because it is a Hindu Royal temple, visitors are not allowed to enter, so we can only enjoy the outside view outside the door. There is no honor in the tall temple in the courtyard wall, but besides a pair of colorful lion sculptures, the colorful lintels are also carved with various gods, which is impressive.
